Protein Ball Recipe That Will Replace Those Boring Bars

Easy To Make Protein Ball Recipe That Will Replace Those Boring Bars

This is a very simple high protein recipe and baking is not required. You should basically mix the ingredients and refrigerate them for a couple of hours. These ball-molded nibbles contain lemon juice, oats, poppy seeds and protein powder, giving all things needed to a healthy eating routine.

The lemon juice and water hold these protein bites together while the lemon zest gives it a tart taste. This makes a healthy, delicious sans gluten nibble.

Each serving has over 17 grams of protein and less than 150 calories! How is that possible?

Very simple: take your most loved vanilla powder. Ensure it’s sans gluten, sans sugar. Not all protein powders assimilate equally. If the bites appear to be wet, add more protein powder. If they’re excessively dry, include more water.

While the protein powder makes up most of the dry ingredients, there are a few oats to give a heartier surface. Use sans gluten oats for sans gluten bites, if you want. What’s more, keep in mind the poppy seeds in your dry ingredients!

The bites are held together with freshly squeezed lemon juice and water. No nuts or butter, no coconut oil—just loads of lemon juice. Try not to skip it! The zest from one medium lemon goes into the mixture, and if you favor a truly tangy taste, include the zest from a second one as well.

  • 6 tbsp. water
  • 3 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 6 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. freshly grated lemon zest
  • ½ cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 tbsp. poppy seeds
  • ½ tbsp. granulated sweetener

In a bowl, join the powder, oats, poppy seeds, granulated sweetener, and lemon zest. Include the lemon squeeze and water, blending everything. Shape the blend into 28 little circles, and place into a Tupperware compartment. Seal and store in the fridge until prepared to eat.

Note: This formula was particularly intended for plant-based powders.

If you substitute an alternate plant-based protein powder, you may need to include more powder if the mixture is excessively wet OR more water if the mixture is excessively dry. Try not to substitute whey-based powder; the bites won’t set.
