Basil:

Place basil clippings in a glass of water, with 3 to 4-inch stems. Then expose them to sunlight. You need to plant them in other pots as long as their roots grow to 2 inches. The new basil plant will grow soon.

Bok Choy:

If you want to regrow your bok choy, all you need to do is to place its root end in a water and in a room that is exposed to light. After one, or two weeks you should put the plant in a pot with soil. A new head will grow soon.

Romaine Lettuce:

Place romaine lettuce stumps in a 1/2 inch of water. Constantly refill with water, in order to maintain the same amount. In a couple of days, you will notice the new leaves and roots. So, you need to transplant it into another pot with soil.

Garlic:

Take some garlic sprouts and place them in a glass of water. In that way, you will regrow them. You can add these sprouts in your salads, pasta or some other meals.

Scallions (green onions):

If you want to regrow scallions, just take a small glass of water and then place the roots together with an inch left. Keep the glass in a well-lit room.

Celery:

To regrow a celery, you need to cut off its base and then put on a plate or shallow bowl filled with warm water and keep it in the sun. New leaves will start to grow in the middle of the base. Then transplant it to soil.

Carrots:

Place some carrot tops in some dish with water. Place the dish on a window sill or in a room exposed to light. You can add the new carrot tops to your salads.
